Are you sure it's the latest beta 2? They run expirations on all
pre-release
code.

Well - not much luck so far - it's incredibly slow to boot and shut down
and
won't even let me in as it says software has expired and won't let me
activate!

It works (just!), but the more important question is 'is the UI any
better'?
FWIW I think it's more complicated that the XP version....let us know what
you think!

More generally, I've found Vista Beta 2 very slow at times - guess there
are
still one or two lines of debug code in there still ;-)

Anyone tried Vista Beta 2 MCE? I'm just installing it but wondered if it
works OK? I plan to play with it for playing back video but not recording.
