Re: TV licensing legality of a SlingBox ??
The licence is required for the device that is displaying a TV program
-
so a PC streaming TV from the web would require a licence, even if it
doesn't have a tuner card. However, I don't think the Slingbox itself
would need to be covered by a licence, since it has no display (although
there may be copyright issues with rebroadcasting a show across the
internet).
