RE: [OT] In-ear headphones
I have some of the noise cancelling Sony ones that look similar -
MDR-NC11. These have come down in price a bit and make a big difference on
the plane. Should work well with the lawn mower too ;-) Of course if your
wife starts talking she gets cancelled out too. Still looking for a
downside to these ;-)
e.g.

- no affiliation etc. etc. Shop around as these go for 75 dollars in the
States

Mark I have the e3c they are naff! They have been lying in my draw since I
bought them from the states. A lot cheaper there by the way.
There is a guy here with the e2c and he is hates them. I don't understand
why some ppl like them I have read so many user reviews panning them

Subject: [ukha_d] [OT] In-ear headphones
Had a set of Sony MDR-EX71SLW for a year now for my ipod. Well pleased
with them, they sound good, cut out the lawnmower noise quite well and
stay in my ears (unlike most other ear-bud type headphones). However,
they have just gone very "quiet" - and this appears to be a well
known
problem with them according to the reviews on Amazon.
Has anyone experience of "Shure E2C"? Read some great reviews,
but then
one comparing with my Sony's saying they didn't have nearly as much bass.
I'm thinking even with the problems, a pair of Sonys per year might be the
best option.
Any advice OFF-list appreciated.
Thanks
M.
