Subject: [ukha_d] [OT] Txt Automation

Hi,

I've posted this as OT as the use I need it for is not strictly HA but the
answers probably have HA uses :-)
What's the simplest way to implement a system that will implement something
(I.e. Add a line to a database, populate a shopping basket, trigger some
code) as a result of a received text message?

I can find loads of companies that provide two way services but my mind
tells me this cant be that difficult to implement if you have an txt/mobile
modem attached to a PC?

Or perhaps a third party company is a better way to go?

Any advise appreciated.

Rob
