ISTR that depending on your current version of word, to open word 2 files,
you have to have the word 2 import filter installed???

Yes, I have all converters installed in Word 2003, but even using the W2
converter, all I get is squares. The files haven't been used for years
(historical info.), but they do appear corrupted. They still show as the
correct size.
