Gary

I get my friends / relatives to buy Canon, these take third party cartidges
and are cheap as chips, normally about 3-4 quid.

The printers are usually good quality too.

Hi,

My epson c64 has given up after only 1 1/2 years and little use.

I did buy a chip resetter and filled perhaps 3 times... but had enough
of the printer.it eats ink! even when not using it... as every time
you turn it on, (after few days not using it), it does head
cleaning... i reckon i got about 30 pages of text out of each cartridge.

any other printers that don't eat ink even when not used often?
and hopefully without chip protection...or a good supply of cheap
cartridges?

Did google on all this but all printers seem to have various problems?

any recommendations?

Regards

Gary
