Re: Window Air Con Unit
I am, loving aircon this evening - set to get hotter tomorrow. I know
all the arguments about how you should not need aircon but its supposed to
hit 37 tomorrow !!!

The B&Q one that I have here (single hose out of the window) comes with
an
oval pipe tip and two lengths of foam cut to shape to fit around it. You
then cut it to the appropriate length for the width of your window and
close
the window down on that.
Should work fine on a sash window (that's what it's intended for).
(And it's a hefty 14,000 BTU too ... Quite noisy but cools beautifully.)
