Part of the problem I see is there's few consumer level solutions for
this -
Phillips and Yamaha are the two I can think of...
Things like Sonos, SqueezeBox, Airport Express still require PC's of some
form or another to rip and store music - then you've got the fun of
configuring a wireless network!
Not sure about the 10 year prediction though - look how quickly the iPod
took off...
