RE: [ukha_d] Which Media Center ?

AFAIK the TV out from the Xbox is second to non and you would
certainly
end up paying
more than the price of the Xbox for the graphics card alone !

There are still Xboxes available on eBay and my local Game shop has
second hand ones
with a warranty. If you soft mod it (rather than chip it) then you won't
loose the warranty :)

I don't think you'll find anything to beat the Xbox for "value for
money"

The later models (1.6) seem to have much quieter fans than the early
models, I have changed
the fan in my 1.4 model for a quite PC case fan.

Does anyone know if there is a xAP connector for the XBox ?

Marcus

BIG BIG SMILE :)

I was gonna mention this as I know a lot of boys had been doing
this a
while back.

I think I will end up going down this route as ultimately it
does/did have
the more superior TV out stage.

Is it still the best ? Or is there another bit of hardware out
there that
we can hack/flash ?

ps I wonder where I can pick up an old xbox up from in the UK.
