Well, I've got it working at last!

I got some hints from someone else on the XLobby forum. It seems I
didn't need to do anything with the DSP routing (although I'm now sure
that it's flexibility would allow you to do it through this). In the
end all I needed to do was set the speaker setup (the 'surrounder') to
5.1 with surround 'ON' (I'd had it set to 'off'). Now any stereo
signal (i.e. my TTS announcements) sent to the 0/1 soundcard get
replicated to the three 'zones' while I can continue to use 4/5, 6/7
and 8/9 for the independent audio zones.

I'm not really sure I understand why this setting should work like
that but I think I'll let that rest!

The more I look at it, the combination of the KXDriver and creative
soundcards look near ideal for HA / WHA purposes. A XAp interface to
the KX would be the muts nuts in terms of integration!

Regards

Richard
