No, I have a 12 channel (6 Stereo) Russound poweramp that does the
heavy duty stuff.  Unfortunately, this doesn't have the feature you
mention of a separate mixing input. Hence I was hoping to do this at
the soundcard stage.  Interestingly though, I've been discussing the
same on the XLobby forums and someone seems to have achieved this
mixing on the 0/1 channel and is going to send me some details of how
he's done it.  If I can work out, I'll post if anyone is interested.
