I did the same recently but using MainLobby. It's really great when
all the systems actually come together and are reportable and controllable
from one place :)
xAP plugin for HomeVision was written by Mark Harrison but it has a bit of
a memory leak so I never got it working properly. In the end I bought
HomeSeer (bit expensive) and now use the HomeVision plugin and the xAP HS
plugin to achieve a great result. I'd really recommend this route - it
works very well.
