Ladies and gents it's been a good couple of years but I'm back to hopefully
be of some use to the die hards - Nice to see some old names who are still
around and posting....

I have and am currnetly going through the archives and picking up
information here and there - still see the same questions being asked :-o

My current HA system is as it was from before and has served me well -
basically consists of a hand built embedded linux distro router running
shared memory apps and services to control X10, AV control via Infrared,
schedules, triggers and cameras. Underlying protocol was XAP but modded it
to suit my needs.

Very innovative and robust for it's day but I'm pretty much disappointed
that there have not been any real software/hardware advances since.

What now ?

I'm looking at porting and opensourcing my development along with picking
up projects that I left midstream years back...

- Media centre
- OSD
- PVR devices

n00b questions to follow :) So please be kind :)
