Frank what were the part numbers, your links are specific to the session
you Used when you logged onto the website and have expired.

I thought that was what I was doing by using an AD10 :)

Anyway, the biggy for me is that I know nothing about electronics etc
so building something from scratch is a little daunting for me..
Especially when it involves mains electricity and the risk of burning
down the house !

Why not turn on non dimmer 240v  stuff with relays ...???

I use Omron relays to switch some 240v stuff and also use them to
interface
between my alarm system to both CBUS and Homevision......What i like
about
the omron relays is that the relay contacts are physically  seperated
from
the coil (12v dc) ......and you can get them with led indicators to show
the
status of the relay.......heres a link to them ....much cheaper to

from an electrical wholesaler though........
