RE: harmony remotes



You can use the web configuration pages to reprogram as long as the IR
codes
you need are in the online database without needing the remote to be
connected. You can then either instruct someone in the midlands to log in
and update the remote or do it yourself when you arrive. This is a
Logitech's way of providing remote off-site support.

I need to 'program' a harmony 885 asap - but the remote is down in the
midlands at the moment, I wondered if it would be possible to download
&
install the software on my pc to configure it, then take my lappy down with
me, plug the remote in and upload the configuration to it then.. Like you
would do with a pronto.
