If you can find one, Lots of us Mainlobbers (or should that be=20
Mainlobbiers) run Viewsonic Airpanels - basically an all in=20
one 'Smart display' with touchscreen, wireless LAN and thin client.=20
Works by connecting a remote desktop session to the host PC.

The only downsides are the limited number you can have connected=20
concurrently without using something like Thinsofts WinXP server and=20
the odd unexplained disconnect.
I'm also going to respond to your thread on the Cinemar forums about=20
using Geovision - don't have the answer though :0

far there are three obvious places in my house: AV Room, Kitchen and=20
master bedroom, each of which have slightly different needs. I'll=20
also be displaying the interface in a number of other rooms on a TV=20
through my AV distribution system and controlled by simple remote.

the `showcase' for visitors as well as day-to-day use. I will be=20
able to display the interface on the plasma but thinking about it,=20
the use of a separate touch screen device sitting on the coffee=20
table would be the ideal. This means that valuable and regular data=20
can be shown continuously and the plasma/AV distribution doesn't=20
need to be switched over, interrupting a TV programme or film.
