I would go for hosting as well. Otherwise if you are downloading
through
your home connection this would impact the performance of people accessing
your website. Plus you don't have the hassle of downtime etc etc.

I am with www.siteground.com as recommended by some other UKHA users and
the
service has been great. The package is cheap and very good. The amount I am
paying per month is probably less than I would pay in electricty to have a
computer running 24/7!

Unless you're shifting vast amounts of data onto your website every day
(eg. live video), I'd say host it. Better browsing data rate, no hassle
keeping it running and secure, and running up someone else's electricity
bill/server room temperature...
