Well,

I am sure that the xap guys can answer your questions - there's a separate
xap yahoo group  where you may have more success (xap_automation)

If you don't mind looking at other options, can I suggest you have a look
at
the xPLHal Software - it's also free of charge, and includes a scripting
environment very similar to Homeseer in scope. There's also a CBUS
interface
and comfort integration.
