Hiyall,

Many thanks for the push in the right direction - although as was said -
there's a lot of reading up to do!

Interestingly enough, I've not long got back from Asda with a copy of
the Winter 2005 edition of 'What Hi-Fi Sound And Vision "Ultimate
Guide
Home Cinema"'. In which are reviews of the 'top' projectors, plasmas
and
LCD etc. (and a whole load of other stuff!)

Best of Class for the 36-40" plasmas was the Panasonic TH-37PV500
again
was mentioned as a 'good little set' :)
I've yet to read it fully...

As another note - I did a bit of a google on HDCP interfaces and found
this...
http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/H/HDCP.html

If I'm reading this correctly - the 'receiver' (your nice new tele!) has
to acknowledge a key exchange to set up encrypted link between it and
the source. If your source doesn't do the encryption then the tv wont
display anything! Bit of a bum if your plugging in your pc I guess?
So does this mean that these ports are only for use with Sky?

Cheers
Wayne.
