Thanks for the info.
Now I need to source myself a Tivo - anyone got any recommendations apart
from eBay?
Also antyhing I should look out for when I buy?

Correct.

It's the size of a standard VCR.

It'll work like a VCR, I believe. However, it's the features that come
with
Tivo that make it the killer app!
