Sleazyjet are way OTT about this sort of thing. The last flight we were on
they made us unhook our jackets off the seat-back coat hooks during
take-off
because they could impede escape (we weren't on an escape aisle). I only
fly once or twice a month, normally with whoever's cheapest, but apart from
EasyJet, most airlines seem to be 'OK' with the concept of using something
that looks like a PDA during flight. I've never been challenged, and
that's
using BlackBerrys and Treo's, both of which look a bit more phone-like that
an XDA.
