Unless you're a complete hifi snob, if you are wanting to run hefty cables
for speakers then try out good old mains cable. It does a damn fine job.
It's solid core so puts a goodly amount of nice and conductive copper in
the
mix. I've used both 1.5 and 2.5sqmm in the past on many occasions with good
results and it's generally a lot cheaper than using a "name
brand" stranded
cable when you don't need the flexibility of stranded.
