Agreed but the tooling for those connectors is very pricy.

Suggestion - get down to your local pub, research some of its finest
alcoholic beverages and find out whether there's anyone there that works
for
your local cable company ... NTL around here all seem to use the
compression
type connectors rather than the much cheaper crimp type connectors and you
may be able to tempt one of them into terminating a bunch of cables for you
for a few folding beer tokens.
