Hi Ben,

Yes you need to have the enterprise activation option. This can USUALLY be
beamed down from the provider as a "service book" but I know of
two provides (one UK one France) that have refused to do this as the
blackberry wasnt purchased through them. Best thing would be to ask the
provider is they will do it before you get the handset.

Subject: [ukha_d] Blackberry Question?

Hi All

I need some help working the Blackberry Service out.

One of my colleagues at work can add me to the work Blackberry
solution but I can't get the Blackberry phone. So I will pick one up
from ebay.

Now I know that to use it with the Enterprise Server the Blackberry
device needs the 'Enterprise Activation option'. So what determines
of the unit has this enabled? Can it be turned on?

I hope that all makes sense

Ben
