ADSL for all the offices apart from the UK, which is leased line.  The
quantity of data would be low, but there would be a need to keep it near
real-time, hence my assumption of drip-feeding the mirror through the day,
rather than an overnight batch-job.

Are the offices connected via ADSL, SDSL or leased line? The viability
of your solution will largely depend on what the upstream bandwidth is
to the backup site, and how big the data deltas are.

MS have a free utility "synctoy" which does a reasonable job for
my
lappers.
