Brightness hasn't been a problem at all, in all conditions. Might be a
function of the cars we use it in, of course....

Navigation seems fine to me - it all depends on how you find the menu
systems, and they work for me just fine.

From what I hear it's better than previous units for reception ... how
about brightness ... on anything other than a dull day the previous
units were poor ... they were also bad for running ahead, and that may
not have changed ... ie: great for showing where you are, but not much
good for navigating ahead or planning a route, or chossing options, etc
... the DVO built-in systems, we've found, are a lot better than Tom Tom
... 'though that's probably not much help !
