RE: DVR or Geovision?



I have no experience of the traditional recorders - but I do know
Geovision quite well - Like Mark, I'd definitely go for Geovision again,
it's just SOOOOO flexible and great software, even if you're only using the
basic functions.

It does use a lot of resources though, so a dedicated PC is the way to go
IMHO.

We recently put a CCTV system in work and I decided on a "proper"
DVR
instead of the hassle of building a GeoVision setup.

It's been utter pants in comparison to my setup at home, hard drive failed
already, picture quality not that good, software isn't a patch on GV (and
no
sign of upgrades etc).  I really wish I'd built my own GV box instead.
