Hey all, sorry! been working like mad last few weeks so minimal
posting and now three at once!!

Been hearing the rumblings about using a mac mini as a media server
and its getting me intrigued.

My only question would be to do with Raid?! is there anyway to raid 5
using the mac?

my main requirement is something with about 2Tb and the ability to run
itunes. (hence why I can't go down the terrastation route at this time)
I've been thinking of pc based but I'd LOVE to move to the mac route!!

so i guess i'd be going for a firewire drive enclosure (altho
surprisingly most of the ones i've seen have been for ide drives only)

and then pluggin this into a mac mini and away we go,

so is anyone doing this with raid already?! any reports positive or
negative?! main purpose will be serving a number of xboxes around the
house and possible MCE machines in time!

Thanks

Noel
