Hi Malcolm,
I'm running mine on a quad 200Mhz machine with 512Mb Ram. Machine is
design=
ed for reliability rather than speed, dual PSU, Raid 5 etc all for
=A3100..=
.
Didn't notice any speed issues but then not all my scripts are running, I
d=
on't have many devices at the moment and it's not a like for like
compariso=
n as under HS2 it's a web based interface...
I couldn't find much in the way of guides to help you through the process
e=
ither... You should check all the plug-ins are available... I would
recomme=
nd a trial on another machine to get used to the new way of working, it's
v=
ery different...
Let me know how you get on...
Nigel

I think I'm about to take the plunge this weekend too - although I'm still
not entirely sure why, having had a stable HS v1.7.44 system for some
time=
!

A quick question for you. My HS PC only runs HS. It's a pretty lowly
spec'=
d
machine (1GHz, 512Mb, WinXP) but has run HS fine until now and meets the
mi=
n
spec specified by HS for HS2. Can I ask what you run yours on and if you
noticed any performance degradation (or opposite) in upgrading to HS2??

Thanks

Well I bit the bullet today and started to upgrade to Homeseer 2.0
Mixed results, but big hopes...
