My company still uses it for some custom hardware, so you could say that
just about every cheque in Ireland and 40% of those in the UK are
processed,
in part, on OS/2.
We've got one of the guys that 'wrote' OS/2 working for us, a very odd
fellow. No eyebrows, and a 'unique' personality.

That it may do but if you move to Linux then you move to a platform that
is
built on the efforts of volunteers which - although with the absolute best
of intentions and I do recognise this - results in stuff like the absolute
farce that is the Linux firewire support (and I'm sure that this isn't the
only support area in which Linux is deficient).
[Ducks and awaits the inevitable pro-linux supporters bleating how good
the
OS really is.]
