RE: LCD glass?

Privalite is the name of one of the products.
II 've used it for exibition work in a previous job, it was hellishly
expensive and the 'control unit' that the supplier sent turned out to be
a 240-12 transformer wired backwards.

If you go directly to Privalite I'm sure you'll get better service.

The stuff we had was opaque milky white untill a high voltage AC source
was applied when it turned clear, but not as crystal clear as
conventional glass.

Subject: [ukha_d] LCD glass?

I know there was a lot of talk a while back about that LCD privacy glass
that can be turned opaque.

Anyone know if this can be applied to a glass surface on existing glass
panels (before fitting) or is it a layer within the glass itself? Also,
is there a fire rated glass version?

Thanks,

Paul.
