Hi Ian,
Which process did you follow? - since it's not quite the same as a
softmod, I'm presuming the process may be somewhat different...
What *really* annoys me, is the tutorial I've just ended up at for doing
a softmod HDD upgrade has as its #1 instruction:=20
"Get the following programs from the usual places:
atapwd
Hdlock
Hdunlock
Hddisabl
007 gamesave exploit (or mech assault)
liveinfo
hdprepar
HDD_Driver
Windows 95/98/ME bootdisk maker"
... - AARRGGHH - what usual places?? - why can't they just put a link to
them, or better still host them right there & then in the downloads
section of the same website? Jeez it annoys the t1ts off me that
something that *everybody* says only takes between 5-30 minutes is
nothing of the sort!!! It might well only take that long to actually do
it, but it's taking bloody days to get all the pre-requisites together.
I swear that when I track down all these items I'm gonna zip them all up
into a single package and bung 'em up on a website somewhere to make it
a whole lot easier... - unless somebody already has of course.... - in
which case I'd appreciate a link... :-)
Cheers.
