The specifications help here:

Resolution(Pixel) 800 RGB (W)x480(H)
Supported Resolution 640 x 480 ---- 1600 x 1200-75

The native resolution is 800x480, but most people run them at 800x600,
ideal for in car use as the front-end to a carpc. (I have one as part of
a demo install in my Smart)

They will accept and display a resolution up to 1600x1200 but obviously
they can't display every single pixel.
