Subject: [ukha_d] Another broadband router required

After the thunderstorms last week I now need a replacement for my Vigor
2600G (as well as 2 laptops and a HP officejet!). I was thinking of going
for a 2800G but thought I would check if anyone here uses one and if they
have had any problems. Otherwise would anyone care to recommend a wireless
broadband router that also handles VPN rather than simply VPN passthru.

I would also like to add some protection to my phone line if possible to
prevent similar damage in future. The surge on the phone line took out the
above equipment but did not damage my dect phones. Is there anything I can
fit that would offer some protection without costing the earth?

Neil B.
