Re: CBus???



If CBus is too pricy, you might want to hold off for a few months and
try Z-Wave - there are plugin-in dimmers & appliance modules available
now, and UK switches are supposed to be on sale before the end of the
year. The cost is about 50% more than the X10 equivalent, but you get
status reporting and none of the delays.

UPB (Universal Powerline Bus) is another new technology that works in
the same way as X10 but is miles better. It's taking off in the States -
it will be interesting to see if it ever makes it over here...
