The input channels on the AUX input units are opto-isolated from the C-Bus
side of the circuitry (which is not the case in the Bus Couplers) and hence
the cable runs to the inputs of the AUX input units don't count towards the
total C-Bus network length.

Both the AUX input units and the Bus Couplers can be used to give you the
same functionality that you had on your LD11's (i.e. click on/off and
press-and-hold to adjust brightness).
