There's possibilities everywhere :-) but I haven't started on embedded
HomeVision support yet . The potential users are still small in number but
I haven't forgotten.
You can do this currently using HomeSeer inbetween but like you I share the
view
that less is more in terms of resilience. I believe that a C-Bus
lighting system should work just as reliably and fast as the hardwired
system it replaces. (If you come from an X10 tolerant environment you
may be more tolerant).
I'll keep you posted on any HV developments but it's a while off yet.
