RE: MCE 2005 Sound Card Suggestions Wanted

Guys

I know I'm a bit late with my response, but are you aware that the output
to
the SPDIF is not bit perfect? I'm sure I read on the greenbutton that sound
from a DVB-T card is converted from digital to analogue back to digital for
output to the SPDIF.

I had my MCE SPDIF out connected to a Linn Unidisk and must admit that I
noticed quite a bit of distortion, so reverted back to an analogue
connection until I get a chance to look at the following:

Again this may be irrelevant, as it really depends on whether you want the
highest possible quality sound out from your PC.

Hi all,

I'm looking for a new sound card for my MCE 2005 system, one with
SPDIF / Digital out.

Can anyone recommend one?

TIA
Darren
