Re: MSN Messenger

One of the things I wanted to do was a xAP <-> MSN gateway but
api changes /
restrictions made me re-think.

I believe James over on the xAP list has a semi-working xAP <->
Jabber
gateway though.

Personally I settled on a SMTP -> xAP gateway which allows me to send
pre-canned emails containing xAP schema messages to a specific email
address. These emails are then routed by my mail server to the gateway
which sends them out over the xAP network.

It's not quite as seamless and transparent as I'd like and I'm still
working
on two way feedback, but it's working well so far. It also allows non-xAP
stuff to be "xAP-enabled" fairly easily as any software that can
send an
email can then effectively send xAP schema messages.
