Yeah, Linux can handle it then :-)

Doh! If only it worked while USB was connected then it would be the
perfect "remote updatable" frame.........is there an electric
device
that does the equivalant of plugging in or unplugging a USB connection
on demand? :-)

The mortgage comment wasn't about the Philips - it was to do with the
last time I looked for photo frames with ethernet/wifi interface they
started at about 500 quid each and climbed up fast :-(
