RE: Geovision & HA

Update.

I have now got the card installed, drivers loaded, v.8 of the software
running on an SBS2003 server. One problem though, I can't find my cameras
that I bought a few months back, so can't test the camera capability yet,
though I have logged into the MultiCam system! (Will have a rummage around
or just buy some more)

Does anyone know at what point you expect this not to work, would the
application not start, or would the card not be recognised, etc?

So far it seems to be working fine.

Marchino

Hi

I have just bought a card from one of the ebay sellers.

The card is a V3.31 card and comes with version 7.05 of the software, does
not require a dongle.

I will test it with version 8 and report back if you want.

Hmm,

I may just have to bite the bullet and pay for a version 8 card rather than
the ebay route (perhaps thats why these cards are appearing on ebay - don't
support version 8). Certainly the ebay ones seem to be half the retail cost
but then again all trade prices in CCTV seem around half retail so they
could just be selling at trade prices.
