When I had my Tivo, I spent more time shouting at it because the UI was so
slow !
Tivo wins hands down on features, but 99.99% of the time I just want to
select from a list and play. Yes, the series links are iffy, but the
broadcasters set those not Sky. Tivo themselves hand-manage the series
links much better. Sky+ is just fast. It just works It's one box, and no
analogue conversion malarky.
Hourses for courses and what you want out of a system. They are both
great, and they are both bad.
I spent a small fortune on CBUS, but my mobile is the same crappy model
I've had for 5 years ! It just does what I need it to do - talk and text
:-)

Yes, it is derogatory. It's great in theory but shite in practice. My Sky+
works and has worked from day one; no remote connections, no funky scart
connections etc. I will agree the Tivo UI is better but that is not to say
the Sky one is dire. However if you are basic user then the Sky+ system it
so much easier all round.

No idea what that means but I assume its derogatory?
If it is I have to disagree strongly. TiVo is one of the best products
I've
ever used.
