Re: Homeplug ethernet over mains

Patrick,

Does it work fine with extension plugs?

Are you using the 14mbps? or 85mps?

Regards,

Subject: [ukha_d] Homeplug ethernet over mains

Prompted by someone's recent post, I shelled out for some homeplug
gear from solwise, and I just wanted to rubber stamp the 'thumbs up'.
I am *really* impressed! Throughput is at least 5 times what I was
getting over 11Mbps wireless with an 80% signal and wep enabled.
Installation was literally plug-and-play, up and running in seconds
with no pesky driver installs or anything... If you need an ethernet
jack somewhere, and it is impractical or you just can't be bothered to
run cat5, this could be a solution.

Patrick
