If it's a Windows GUI application, you may very well still be able to
script it... - there are a number of scripting tools for GUI based apps,
- Girder was always one of the best, but that is no longer freeware
unfortunately.

I know I have come across a few others over the years as well, but the
only name I can remember off the top of mu head was called Autoit.

Thanks for the Excel info, I'm going to need to work out how to split
the
file into days as the time cycles back to 00:00 but should be able to.
It
would be great if I could run the Mastech acquisition software from a
command line (so I could script it) but it doesn't do that.
