Thankfully so far (touches wood) my 3 year old Alpine sat nav has been
pretty damn good in getting me to everywhere I've used it to get us too...

... however *FINDING* the place in the first place can be a bit of a
nightmare as it relies on you having the correct address (and it pre-dates
postcode searching on that unit).

For example trying to find my sister in laws house with the address she
gave us in "Chandlers Ford" proved impossible ... should have
realised
given that she likes to think she's a bit posh and tried searching under
"Eastleigh" instead. :-D

One good thing about sat-nav is that it encourages you to go exploring as
you can always find your way back afterwards ... :-D
