I=92m currently working with SG Systems in Glasgow (a custom installation
company & Cedia member) and can offer this for a design fee of around

plus VAT (1 set of schematic/positional drawings plus 1 revision) assuming
you can supply a floorplan to work from. If you want to email me offlist
with an idea of your requirements I can quickly give you some idea on
cabling issues and some indicative costs if SG supply the cable.

There have been a few posts in the last week or two that were along similar
lines so if you look these up they will give some good advice on where to
run cables and what to use if you don=92t want to pay for a formal design.

Hi...  I'm on renovating (completely gutting) my house at the moment.=20
I'm getting to the stage of first fix electrics . I intend to install=20
home automation but because of the amount of works to be done and=20
budget restrictions, i don't think i could go the whole hog and get

lot installed in one go. I'd like to get all the cables installed so=20
i'm not hacking away at plaster 1 or 2 years down the line. I've seen=20
installers advertising that full installation costs being no more

a quality custom kitchen....  but that seems a bit vague for my
liking.=20
i mean how much is that? Anyway, I'm considering getting plans done
for=20
the cabling and getting my own electricians to do it so there is no=20
hitches when all the plasterboards are on. I'm a complete newb to=20
this....  surely costs can't be that extreme just for plans only?

anyone know of anyone who provides this service?  or any advise would=20
be much appreciated. Thanks
