RE: X10 scripting software

Homeseer would also do this (though it's a bit more than just scripting
software), but my immediate though was whether the appliance module would
tolerate clicking away at such frequent intervals. Out of the 30 or so
modules I've got kicking around, about 10% have failed one way or another
over the 2 years they've been used, and that's just a few cycles a day.

Subject: [ukha_d] X10 scripting software

I've got an aplication where I need to repeatedley cycle the mains
power supply to a device at 30sec to 5 minute intervals under computer
control.

I have an X10 computer interface and appliance module (from Simply
Automate). Using the ActiveHome software from their website allows me
to set up timers, but entering each timer event using the GUI is very
tedious. It also only allows control to the nearest minute.

Does anyone know of scripting software that would allow me to set up
lots of short timer events ?

Thanks,
Jon
