Anyone remember this ? It was available as a kit about 5 years ago, you
built it on a board about 4 inch x 1 inch. It has a CR2032 battery one end
-
RS232 plug the other and a couple of LEDs on it. You control it from a file
called tempa.exe (but I might have renamed that) on a PC but then it runs
standalone and records data at intervals of a minute or so. Plug it back
into a serial port to see the results and save as a .csv.
A great bit of kit that I've used for all sorts of things, from recording
temp in the fridge to the loft. A friend wants to buy one but I can't find
any notes. The software says "Vision Software Datalogger
1999-2000" I think
it might have originally been advertised in the Maplin magazine ?
Ring any bells with anyone - surprisingly even after 20 minutes Googling I
can't find any trace of it !
