Thanks David & Andrew,

Just another question. Does bradford Consultants have a website or
somewhere I could buy there stuff online? I'm in Ireland so I can't go to
them! Dave, Do you have the maplin code for those items you mentioned is
i=
t
these?
http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=3D1077&doy=3D7m9
Are these the same sort of thing a Bradford's sell?

See my main plan is to terminate the T&E in a section of trunking and
have
speaker cable running from the connection on the trunking lid to a speaker
patch panel so I can plug my amps etc into. So I was looking for the best
type of connection to terminate the T&E to the speaker cable and then
have =
a
nice phono or the next best thing as andrew said phono won't be good for
high powered speakers.

I would prefer links etc if possible. I search a good bit but don't know
what are the best connectors especially for the T&E.

Cheers

Brian

Try Bradford Consultants Ltd.
=20
They do a lot of good stuff and realtively inexpensive.
=20
TPT40G Rear speaker panel
TGP40RB Rear speaker panel
=20
Panels are 118 x 90 and have solid thumbscrew terminal connections which
are individualy colour coded.
=20
and at only =A31.50 each or =A31.00 if you have 20+
=20
=20
Phono is not a lot of good for high power speakers because of the
current.

Hi,

I want to make a patch panel for my speakers. I just don't know what
type
of connector to use. I ran 2.5 T&E for my speaker cables around the
house.
I'm just wondering what would be a good type of connector to use.
Solder or
screw type connections? What has others used? I have had a look at
maplin
and radionics. They have a phono chassis socket but I don't think it
will
be any good with the T&E.

Any suggestions would be great

Brian
