On which machine are you running the xAP viewer - is it the MCE machine
? If so then you must have a xAP hub running first on that machine . If
you are running Viewer on the MCE machine you 'may' (meaning I haven't
tried this) be able to get away with quitting MCE and launching Viewer -
it should now say xFX Hub in the title bar of Viewermeaning it has
adopted a hub role  - now launch MCE and you should see a heartbeat from
MCE.  It's much easier of Viewer is running on a different machine to MCE.
